Here are some of the links I have found to different sites which might be useful for any Macaddict. I won't add the more obvious which you probably will find in your browsers, anyway - especially Opera for Mac comes with a good library of Maclinks. I won't guarantee how well these sites are kept and you may encounter dead links on them, but give it a try...

Inside Mac Games is a must if you're looking for games and info about 'em.

Ambrosia has some very fine and addictive games - some classics like Mars Rising, Bubble Trouble, Maelstroem etc. - and is coming with a game development tool - Coldstone - for those who wants to create games. they have also other software for Mac.

Macgamefiles.com is where you find most games for Mac listed. Go ahead and download!

Freeware

Freeware Connection has a collection of freeware sites for Macintosh,

1001 Free Fonts also for Macs, is a must for any font freak! Only drawback is that not many of those contains Scandinavian letters where they should be... but some do.

Animation Factory if you're looking for free animations and clip art...

For those of you with children, it might be worth visiting Mac Freeware sorted by age They also have a list for grown-ups (Can't say adults these days or everyone will think of porn!)

Interested in 3D graphics? About.com has a section for that kind of free- and shareware for Mac...

Frisky freeware has a very extensive list of all kinds of freeware for Mac...

Musicmakers

If you're looking for software synthesizers, go here I think you will find what you are looking for...

Audacity is a free programme for manipulating and recording digital audio waveforms.

Free VST plug-ins are to be found here...

CellSynth is a shareware synthesizer. Get it registered for 95 US dollars...

Koblo is a synthesizer - or many - from Denmark and it is not shareware and it is not free, although they have one for free but you can only play with it and not record or save. but for those of you with money...

ProTools FREE! Yes, this is a fully functioning recording studio for free and it is not a free demo, either. It is not as advanced as ProTools, but this is surely one of the best freeware programmes you'll find...

MacMusic is where you go to find out about Audio, MIDI and music on Macintosh. It says it all...

Mp3? Go to this site and you'll find the players, encoders, recording utilities, rippers, converters - whatever.

Miscellaneous

The Macintosh Magicianis serving the Greater Philapelphia Area, but just by visiting the site, you might find out a lot, for instance what all those error codes mean...

ApplePrograms.com is a rather extensive list where to find different programmes - shareware and freeware - but also forums, games etc., with many categories listed, such as Business & Finance, Development Tools,Home & Education, Multimedia & Design etc.

Macintosh Resources is a site which makes the work I have put behind this page, almost superfluous and in vain, because you will probably find it all there! But now you know where to go, at least:-)
